The GNSPI Undergraduate Concentration in Global and National Security (GNS) is an interdisciplinary undergraduate concenration taught by expert and experienced UNM faculty.

GNS Concentration Requirements:

  • LAIS 340: Introduction to Global & National Security
  • Fourth Semester non-English launguage proficiency
  • Math 1350 or any Calculus-level MATH course
  • PHIL 1120: Logic, Reasoning and Critical Thinking
  • Any Computer Science (CS) course
  • 9 Credits of GNS Core electives
  • 21 credits of approved electives
