Professional Master of Science degree in Global and National Security
An interdisciplinary graduate degree taught online in (mostly) 8-week classes by expert UNM faculty and experienced practitioners
Graduate Certificate in Global & National Security Policy
an interdisciplinary 4-course (12 credit hour) graduate certificate targeted program of study around a Global & National Security topic and applied policy or intelligence analysis skills.
Undergraduate Offerings
Including the Global & National Security concentration in the Liberal Arts and Integrative Studies major and the intelligence-focused National Security & Strategic Analysis certificate.
GNSPI achieves its mission via four lines of effort:
- Education, through our formal undergraduate and graduate programs but also through the informal GNSPI Fellowship and public engagement
- Professional Development, through career fairs, talks by experienced practitioners, and career-prep sessions
- Research & Engagement, through our Security Speaker Serier, the Annual Symposium, and the GNSPI Fellows Program
- Building Community, through alumni networking, public events, and celebrations for semester kick-off and graduations
